Digital Work & Miscellaneous Items

Here's some other work I've done in the digital sphere besides the  Verizon Black History Month social media campaign, Kodak SmileMaker app and Census webisodes.  I have also included other random things that don't really fit into "advertising" but def inform, entertain and maybe, just maybe, engage people.

I've done everything from events, in-store, POP, DM, jingles (yes, people still do that), website copy, full microsites, online campaigns, banners, emails, newsletters, landing pages, videos and social media engagement.

(Not to mention I spend countless hours poking around the Internet checking out blogs, posting on Facebook, tweeting, commenting, watching shows and Googling all things random and relevant. I've been trying to find a way to put this on my resume but society just doesn't truly appreciate my world wide webbing skills. Yet.)

Citi Ideas

ThankYou Site Redesign

Hey look! Another website (and probably one of the nicest looking bank websites you'll ever see.)
I wrote all the copy (except whatever the lawyers changed.)

See it live ThankYouCard.Citi.Com

citi sizzle reel

Put together this little video to show some of the most recent digital work, plenty of which I worked on.

Kodak Mom-a-thon

Kodak had an awesome offer - a million free cards for Mother's Day. So we came up with a great way to get people involved, using the most awesome mom in history.

Carol Brady (like Dorothy Mantooth) is a saint.

The campaign launched with this YouTube video then encouraged people to go online and send their mother a free card.

FAGE Yogurt Site

Site redesign and update. Also did the Facebook page and engagement.
It's yogurt. Be excited.

Kodak Brand Idea: New emoticons

:) is inherently lame (though I use them all the time, don't judge me) but what if we could use our real smile online?

Kodak Brand Idea: Social Notworking Documentary

During the "It's Time To Smile" campaign, one of my favourite ideas (that I'd some day really like to do anyway) was for a documentary on how though we are more connected online, we are less connected in real life and as our relationships deteriorate into faux friendships, so does our health and happiness.

(Ask me about it in person, I'll bring my soapbox.)

The documentary (Inconvenient Truth style) talks about the crisis before us using a series of specialists (sociologist, doctors, psychologists, anthropologists, random guy on the street) who show what the world would be like if this trend continues.

We need more hugs! We need more love! (And while you're hugging and loving, pull out your Kodak camera and take a picture, send it to your Kodak digital frame or Kodak printer then make a photobook on Kodak Gallery.)

Kmart Holiday Emails

Came up with ideas for about glurty billion emails and wrote copy for a good 65% of them. Emails for rewards, emails for sales, emails because it's Wednesday.

Here are some fun ones we came up with for the holiday shopping season.

Kodak Welcome Emails

Whenever you buy and register a Kodak product, you get an email from me. Lucky you, I know.
There are about 11 different versions that have each been translated in 8 different languages and are used around the world.

Kodak Times Square Billboard

Concepted, wrote and starred in. (Look Ma! I'm on...a tv-like object)

I also did the summer 08 video but I didn't make a cameo in that one so clearly it's not as awesome.

I did everything and anything related to Kodak in the US and around the world.
- a million banners - all types, all sizes, all creeds and religions. I can do them with my eyes closed, both hands tied behind my back and an apple in my mouth. (Don’t visualize this. It’s disturbing)
- 453 product web pages and packaging copy
- 82 in-store videos and posters
- 23 newsletters and emails (including the product registration emails everybody across the world gets when they buy a Kodak product. Yup, that's me in your inbox, spamming you with a smile.)
- 2 Times Square billboards
- other magical things, including but not limited to, fire eating.

Aerie Gifting & Promos

Lots of concepting and writing -  the brand manifesto, in store, promotions, website, gifting, loyalty programs and all types of fanciful stuff. But sadly, no unicorns.

Again, shortlisted. The view from #2 sucks. (Unless you're #3)

M&M Premiums Pitch

Concepted, wrote and presented this campaign for a pitch.

The premise here is that these fancy schmancy M&Ms are perfect for serving at get-togethers and they're so delicious you'll look for any excuse to get together. I came up with 56,000,004 ideas to get together (read: eat) from finding that missing sock to it being Thursday
